Senator John Pippy poses for a photo on the floor of the Senate Chamber with Cadets of the Golden Triangle Composite Squadron 603 during their visit to the Capitol for the annual Civil Air Patrol Legislative Day.  CAP is the Congressionally chartered U S Air Force Auxiliary, tasked with conducting Air Force assigned Search and Rescue, Aerospace Education and a National Cadet Program.  Squadron 603 meets at the Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station in Moon Township.

Senator John Pippy, along with State Representative Matt Smith, welcome the 2010-11 PIAA Girls Basketball State Champions from Mt. Lebanon High School to the Capitol Complex in April 2011.  The girls and their coach were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on the court.
